This lesson focuses on making a good performance with the poem your class spent time memorising in the previous lesson. They will need to think about and discuss what makes a good performance and generate some hints and tips for a good poetry performance.

Children will spend time practising their performance before they perform it at the end of the lesson to an audience of your choice. Alternatively, the children can film each other's performance and watch it back to help them improve it if necessary.
